I must admit, I’m burnt out after this weekend. Three classes in one day(2 vinyasa and my restorative), well lesson learned, it’s not for me. How some of you yoga teachers do this “all the time”, I have no clue 🙂
When you’re working hard on making stuff happen, it’s easy to get caught up in the work, in working hard, and feeling as if you need to take every opportunity. In hindsight, of course (it’s always in hindsight that we see the fucking truth), I know now that teaching more doesn’t mean I am teaching at my best. Flow is fun, it’s an opportunity to play in a manner in which I don’t get to do in restorative. I can be more whimsical and free when we are moving more, but my heart is in restorative and it shows in my adjustments, my sequences, and well the smile on my fave and demeanor. I wish more studios wanted restorative teachers (I mean, if you’re in huge ATX and you want a fabulous restorative teacher.. Um, hit me up 😉 )
I will be getting to teach my first intensive workshop in August 🙂
Awakening the Heart for the Creative Rising (!!!!)
Y’all know I love to write and I love yoga, what better combination than getting your moving and grooving on, sinking that energy back into the body only to open up and use it for your creative awesomeness. I am so excited and I truly can’t wait too teach this weekend. If you have any interest, here’s the link: https://www.facebook.com/events/493267670819593/?ref_notif_type=plan_user_joined&source=29
I’ll keep sharing all the amazing things that are happening, if you keep coming by and saying hi… Deal?
