Some sweet pre-restorative play time :) when you get to use all the bolsters yourself and not share!!

Here’s a few things about being “present”:

  • You don’t know you are until after you were. In the moment, you don’t really realize “hey, I’m in the now”… You just are.
  • Nothing really distracts you, except what is directly in front of you. Not your phone, not Facebook. What is in front of you takes all your attention and that feels good.
  • When you aren’t present, Β you notice how good it feels when you are. You start to work towards being in the now more often.
  • Sometimes, that shit just doesn’t happen!

We do our best as moms, dads, yogis, humans to focus on what is there in front of us, but in our world today we make it tougher on ourselves. We carry around these devices that are basically one big distraction. We are always at anyone’s beck and call, yet we have the complete control in it. Β It’s a tricky line we walk, this path of being present. But we all have to try πŸ™‚ xo, liz
